Responsibilities

Forklift Operator - Order Picker

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator with experience in order picking to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for locating, picking, and staging materials accurately and efficiently using a forklift.

Job Duties:

• Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift to pick and move products safely and efficiently.
• Pull customer orders from racks or storage areas using RF scanners or printed pick tickets.
• Stage and palletize orders for shipping or internal distribution.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following safety and housekeeping standards.
• Verify inventory counts and ensure order accuracy before staging or loading.
• Work closely with the shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to meet daily deadlines.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and forklift operation protocols .

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
• 1+ year experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Basic understanding of inventory systems or RF scanning devices.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet daily productivity goals.
