Phlebotomist - Rover

LabCorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are looking for a Phlebotomist - Rover to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana. Work Schedule 8-hour shift, Monday–Friday with rotational start and end times between 5:00am and 5:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic tests. Accurately and timely enter patient information into the system. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient laboratory environment. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program in lieu of experience. Proven track record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color-blindness test.
