Clinicians will conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients in the Jefferson County community corrections facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interview clients for admission; assess need for ongoing treatment or referral to other agencies. Provide individual, group, and family counseling as assigned and needed. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment/service plans to support successful completion of goals. Provide psycho‑education classes and other educational presentations on substance abuse. Provide case management services as needed. Communicate with families, probation/parole officers, and community agencies regarding treatment, discharge, and aftercare plans. Maintain all required clinical documentation, ensuring client confidentiality, in accordance with agency standards. Attend treatment team meetings, community correctional program staff meetings, and clinical staff meetings. Attend training sessions for upgrading skills and obtaining or maintaining clinician/counselor certification and licensure. Work on holidays and weekends, as determined by Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager. Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Treatment Team, Clinical Manager, or Clinical Director. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, counseling psychology, or a related human services field. Certified Addictions Counselor II (CAC II), CAC III preferred . Active registration in DORA. Two years direct clinical experience, including work with clients involved in the criminal justice system. Familiarity with evidence‑based treatment modalities and ability to utilize effective interventions for clients with mental illness and substance use disorders. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Ability to work holidays and weekends as required. Preferred Qualifications Licensed clinician in respective discipline: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LAC, Psychologist.
