RN - PCU

Travel RN PCUWe are seeking a Travel RN for a PCU position. This is a 13-week assignment. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. An active compact license is required for submission. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. The unit has a total of 20 beds with a staff of 5 RNs and 2 LNAs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1. Equipment includes GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps. Candidates should possess strong dysrhythmia recognition skills and critical drip experience. Experience with pre-post cardiac cath and pacer patient care is preferred. We are looking for self-directed, confident individuals with strong communication skills. Team players are highly encouraged to apply. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend or equivalent if staffing needs dictate. Potential floating areas may include Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and Emergency Department for ED holds. Dress code is professional scrubs, with no required color. Unit policies and guidelines will be discussed during the interview.
