Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) - Cardiology & Cardiac Electrophysiology Location: Van Nuys, CA Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing cardiology and cardiac-electrophysiology practice in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience caring for adult cardiovascular patients. Key Responsibilities Include Evaluate new consultations and conduct follow-up visits. Manage chronic cardiovascular conditions. Round on hospitalized patients at partner hospitals. Care for patients with implanted cardiac devices and participate in remote-monitoring workflows. Support pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure follow-up. Coordinate care with referring physicians, hospital teams, cardiologists, and practice staff. Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment, and lifestyle modification. Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation. Help develop clinical protocols and practice workflows. Work collaboratively while maintaining the ability to manage appropriate clinical responsibilities independently. See approximately 20-25 patients during a fully scheduled outpatient clinic day once fully ramped. Participate in two weekend days per month. Additional call coverage is available with separate compensation. Education, Licensure, And Experience Current NP or PA qualification with national certification. Active California NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one. Minimum of two years of clinical experience involving both inpatient and outpatient care. Cardiology or cardiac-electrophysiology experienced. Experience with implanted cardiac devices and/or remote monitoring preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certification required. Ability to obtain necessary prescribing credentials and hospital privileges. Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
