Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris Plains NJ 07950.

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule. 

What You’ll Do  

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community. 

• Provide support to a 25-year-old verbal individual with mild intellectual disability who enjoys bowling, going to the gym, dining out, and spending time in the community. The individual has intense behaviors and would benefit from a calm, patient, and reliable DSP who can provide consistent support and supervision.

• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals. 

• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs. 

• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions. 

• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team. 

Qualifications  

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule. 

• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one. 

• Experience Preferred. 

• Vehicle Required. 

• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training. 

Schedule: Mondays Thursdays from 10:00AM-3:00/4PM
Pay: 20-23/hr.
Location: Morris Plains NJ 07950. 
Driving on shift: REQUIRED
