Trailer Technician

Trailer TechnicianShift: Full-time Wednesday-Friday and every other weekend 5:30 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.Job overview: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, rebuilds and component replacements as a Trailer Technician in Wilmer, TX. Work on company trailers.Responsibilities: Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to trailers – like tire changes, minor electrical repairs and greasing. Use maintenance software to create and track work orders. Communicate status updates with internal customers.Skills and qualifications: Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience. Basic welding skills preferred. Computer systems and diagnostic software experience. Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions. Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working 50% or greater of the daily shift time between 3 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, receive a $1.50 per hour differential for hours worked. Non-exempt U.S. shop associates working weekend hours, receive an additional $0.65 per hour differential for hours worked.
