Shift Leader.

This location requires a minimum of 18 years of age and completion of high school. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Interacts with crew members and customers using Tropitude (our "mojo" that creates energy and a positive atmosphere). Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe. Possesses knowledge and proficiency in each position within the cafe. Successfully completes the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program. Ensures each station operates to Tropical Smoothie Café’s standards. Trains and coaches crew members during each shift to uphold brand standards. Uses tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, and control inventory. Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe. REQUIREMENTS Experienced Tropical Smoothie Café crew member. Legally able to work within state and federal guidelines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be 18 years of age or older. Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift. Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 pounds for stocking, refilling ice, or taking out trash. Constant face‑to‑face interactions with crew members and customers. Safely navigate in a fast‑paced cafe environment. Ability to multi‑task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions. WORKING CONDITIONS Shifts are typically between six to eight hours, though they may vary. Crew leaders may have early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and/or holiday hours, and may have additional opening/closing responsibilities. Lead crew members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Café core values in all interactions. Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Café uniform and personal hygiene policies for each shift.
