Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Onsite | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both Scrub and Circulator roles across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Provide intraoperative nursing care for procedures including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, neuro, robotic, and ENT cases
• Support a Level 2 Trauma Center operating room environment handling all OR specialties except Open Heart
• Fulfill on-call requirements as scheduled (2x per schedule block)
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
• Float within skillset as required based on census and staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or a Compact state license, required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care Operating Room experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in both Scrub and Circulate roles (skills checklist required upon submission)
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgical specialties required
• BLS certification required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers are accepted
