Job Description
The Medical Transport Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating timely and efficient transport services within a small dispatch team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role ensures seamless communication between drivers, medical staff, and patients while maintaining compliance and accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign transport requests efficiently
- Coordinate dispatch operations within a small team (1-5 members)
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, medical personnel, and customers
- Plan optimal routes to ensure timely transport
- Keep detailed and accurate transport records
- Track vehicle locations and statuses in real-time
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and provide information
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Prepare and submit reports on transport activities and performance
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in medical transport coordination
