Post Construction Cleaner – Sioux Falls, SD

Purpose: To promote business growth and exceptional customer satisfaction by specializing in the detailed deep cleaning of residential and commercial properties following new construction or remodeling. This role is essential in transitioning a property from a construction site to a move-in-ready environment, requiring high attention to detail, specialized cleaning techniques, and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Essential Functions

• Execute Multi-Phase Cleaning: Conduct thorough post-construction cleaning, including "Rough Cleans" (debris and heavy dust removal) and "Final Cleans" (detailed polishing) for new buildings and remodels.
• Surface Restoration: Meticulously scrub and detail walls, baseboards, counters, and cabinets (interior and exterior) to remove sawdust, paint overspray, and drywall residue.
• Window and Glass Detailing: Carefully remove stickers, adhesives, and construction film from new windows and mirrors, ensuring a streak-free finish.
• Comprehensive Floor Care: Vacuum, mop, and treat floors (carpet, tile, wood, or LVP) using specialized equipment to eliminate fine construction dust.
• Fixture Polishing: Clean and polish all new hardware, light fixtures, and plumbing fixtures to prepare the space for immediate use.
• Debris Management: Identify and remove leftover construction materials and trash from the interior of the property.
• Quality Assurance: Perform final walkthroughs to ensure the site meets the standards of contractors and property owners.
• Professional Representation: Demonstrate a positive and professional approach when communicating with contractors and clients on active job sites.

Experience and Education:

• High School Graduate or GED Required.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Required (for travel to various job sites).
• Ability to pass a background check Required.

Physical Demands

• Ability to bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs., to perform job functions.
