Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values people first, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government location grounds, buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, while assisting with visitor direction and general information requests.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and communicate with local contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
