Responsibilities This opportunity is full-time, 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a night shift schedule. Overtime is available, and the candidate may cover various shifts if interested. Role and Responsibilities Performs various customer care activities and related services in the patient care area including monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry rhythm strips, receptionist and secretarial duties, and patient care tasks. Must be willing to cross‑train and float to meet the needs of the facility. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and have working knowledge of medical terminology. Completion of formal training program for Certified Nursing Assistants with possession of the state CNA certification. As of 8/1/2013, job requires a C.N.A. license in the state of Florida. Current employees of Patient Care Tech may transfer into this updated position with current education and experience. Current American Heart Association BLS certification. Possesses good communication skills in order to relate to customers. Must be able to perform EKGs.
