Junior Estimator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator specializing in Underground Utilities Wet and Dry (water, sewer, storm drain, Fireline's) to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will support the Estimator in preparing accurate competitive bids. You will develop expertise in quantity take-offs, subcontractor coordinator, and project site assessment, with clear paths or professional development within our growing team. Assist in preparing detailed construction estimates for underground utility projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Take-offs & Estimation: Perform accurate material and labor quantity take-off from plans and specifications using digital takeoff software Obtain and compare pricing from material suppliers and subcontractors, cultivating long-term partnerships. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information impacting project costs Assist in the preparation of complete, accurate bid proposals and projects budgets Maintain a tracker of all projects, monitoring the bid process, and assisting with post-bid buyouts Work with project managers and superintendents to understand production rates to improve estimate accuracy Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Bonus/Commission: No
