Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical care plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, preparing operation rooms, ensuring patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative support including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Required Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Desirable Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of surgical practices and principles of sterile technique
• Proven experience in interpreting diagnostic tests and participating in complex clinical decisions
