Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The nurse will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, adhering to protocols, and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced patient care to trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients within the ICU setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records efficiently to document patient interventions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to critical changes.
• Ensure compliance with ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate flexibility in floating within scope to meet facility needs.

Qualifications:

• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience preferred; 3 years strongly preferred.
• Valid and current RN license; pending license accepted.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in neuro, cardiovascular, and trauma care.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and every other weekend.
• Must have experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
