Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech for a 12-week contract assignment at Baptist Health Surgery Center at Bethesda West in Boynton Beach, FL. In this role, you will assist surgical teams during procedures, ensure sterile environments, and support quality patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms with required sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during general medical, surgical, and specialty procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and maintain clean, organized surgical fields.
• Handle specimen collection, instrument processing, and room setup/breakdown efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications: Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) and AHA BLS required.
• Education: High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree transcript/diploma required at submission.
• Special Requirements: Must complete a fit test prior to starting (requires a clean-shaven face for proper PPE fit).
• Location Restriction: Permanent address must be outside restricted counties (Miami-Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach, Broward) and >50 miles from the site.
