Registered Nurse – NICU (Rapid Response / Travel Contract)

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 6-Week Assignment | 48 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 17-bed Level III Neonatal ICU with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1
• Operate and monitor specialized neonatal equipment including Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, Hamilton ventilators, RAM cannula, Baxter IV pumps, and Medfusion syringe pumps
• Support and assist with procedures including UAC and UVC insertion and intubation
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, staff RNs, and PRN RNs across shift assignments

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Level III NICU hospital experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (must be included at time of submission)
• Current NRP certification (must be included at time of submission)
• No special scheduling requests or time-off requests; compliance with cap requirements upon acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a delivery or labor and delivery setting
• NICU or PICU background beyond minimum requirements
• Current PALS certification
