Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Night shift (2x3 nights) on a 32-bed adult/older adult med-surg unit within a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,644 to $1,707 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and older adult patients on a medical-surgical unit, including trauma and acute illness care
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including heparin drips and other acute meds, with careful monitoring for adverse reactions
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, monitor vitals and telemetry as indicated, and document findings in the electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, respond to changes in patient condition, and participate in rounds
- Promote safety and comfort, assist with mobility, and use specialty equipment (gait belts, geriatric chairs, PT equipment) as needed
- Provide patient and family education, prepare for discharge, and coordinate transitions of care with appropriate teams

Requirements
- Documented med-surgical telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to work in a hospital med-surg environment
- Eligibility for travel assignment and ability to meet credentialing requirements
