Job Details Location: Lombard, IL 60148 Position Type: Full-Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $19.78 - $24.73 hourly Category: Branch Operations Overview Provides financial and account services to members in a confident and professional manner that assures efficient operations and exceptional service. Assertively executes cross‑selling with members and potential members to increase growth. This position requires accurately handling member requests such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, new account opening, member interviews, and any other request from members. It also accommodates staffing needs throughout the branch platform as required. Responsibilities Take responsibility and accountability in following all service standards set forth by the credit union; provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates. Perform teller duties: process member transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist members with opening and closing accounts, and address and resolve member problems, inquiries, or complaints. Assist applicants with consumer and mortgage loan applications and questions, explain loan programs, options, and requirements; NMLS is required. Promote the credit union’s products and services based on member needs and identifying opportunities; actively participate in developing new business for the credit union. Represent the credit union in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in all areas. Stay abreast of emerging financial trends to better meet members’ needs. Be accountable for achieving or exceeding individual sales goals and participating in team sales and referral goals. Maintain knowledge of all Credit Union 1 products, services, procedures while staying informed of all policy and procedural changes. Maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping information confidential. Perform other duties as necessary or directed. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Professional manner and appearance. Experience with the public. Good communication and service skills. Proven sales experience or abilities.
