Surgical Technician

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room. Prepares surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field, retracting and passing instruments, supplies and medications to surgeons during cases. Performs a variety of technical skills, including the maintenance of supplies. This department includes all functions related to operating room services, including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions. It does not include PACU, anesthesia functions, pre op holding, and/or central sterile functions. Full time, 8 hour days 40 hours a week. Day shift with evening, night and weekend standby. CV experience of 2 years required and must be recent experience.
