Construction Litigation Attorney

Houston, TX | On-Site | Full-Time | Up to $160,000

A growing Houston-based law firm specializing in construction law and complex commercial disputes is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney to join its team.

This position is heavily litigation-focused and offers the opportunity to manage cases from intake through resolution while representing contractors, subcontractors, property owners, and businesses in construction and commercial disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and legal correspondence
• Conduct depositions and attend hearings
• Participate in mediations and arbitrations
• Develop case strategy and evaluate litigation risks
• Review contracts and dispute-related documentation
• Communicate directly with clients regarding legal strategy and case developments
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar License in good standing
• At least 1 year of post-licensure legal experience
• Strong litigation background
• Experience with pleadings, motions, discovery, and case management
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Houston
