Tax Accountant job at System One. Tulsa, OK. System One is assisting a Tulsa family office with a search for a Tax Accountant. This position will report to the Tax Manager and work with a small, collaborative team that is growing. Willing to push start date out until after the 10/15 tax deadline. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of income tax returns for the family office entities and individuals meeting tax deadlines Determine estimated tax projections Stay current on tax law changes and utilize tax research and planning skills to identify and communicate problems and/or opportunities and propose solutions as a family advocate Develop working relationships with internal and external accountants to improve information sharing, data accuracy and consistency Effectively communicate results to family members and internally on project information Consistently be looking for ways to improve processes to gain efficiencies Adhere to company policies and procedures Requirements Minimum of 2 years of tax related experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping along with knowledge of tax compliance and all types of tax returns; partnership returns and individual 1040 returns a plus Proficient in tax software and Excel Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines Team player who treats others with respect Willing to follow directions and instructions from members of management Strong work ethic with a great attitude Salary $70K - $90K DOE Ref: #208-Rowland Tulsa System One, and its subsidiaries including Joule, ALTA IT Services, TeamPeople, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
