Description:
Travel RN position available in the Pre-Op department.
The role involves caring for patients in the holding area prior to surgical procedures.
The unit has 9 Pre-Op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds.
Staff consists of 8 full-time RNs, with additional part-time and PRN staff.
Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:3.
Equipment utilized includes Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, Dopplers, patient scales, and bladder scanners.
Familiarity with EMR systems is required.
Typical recovery cases include urology, GYN, and outpatient procedures.
Experience with preoperative processes and patient care is preferred.
Candidates should be able to assist with preoperative staff duties.
A 30-minute response time for on-call situations is mandatory.
This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and experienced staff.
