Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Responsibilities Support SPX Values-Integrity, Accountability, Excellence, Teamwork, Results to meet company and customer expectations. Maintain daily Quality Inspection workflow and RMA’s and other duties to meet the company’s set metrics. Conducts inspection and electrical testing to assure the quality of the product or component meets requirements. Where required, that the product meets military standards, agency standards, or special drawing/specification requirements. Performs evaluation of returned goods from customers. Works with manufacturing to determine disposition of returned goods. Documents the data obtained during all quality activities and securely maintain records consistent with company policies and procedures. Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards, including UL, CSA, and military standards. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management. Assists with issues with testing and measurement equipment. Assists in trouble shooting and verification of product issues when failures are identified, both internally and with customers. Reviews purchased products or components requiring incoming quality inspection and determine acceptability of the product to specifications. Where required, assures the product meets military standards, agency standards or special drawing/specification requirements. Maintains certification records for purchased products as required. Documents vendor non-conformances and provides input to the decision to accept product and future purchases from a vendor.
