This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office team in Monument, Colorado. Our outpatient facility operates Monday to Friday, with office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. While most sessions will occur during regular business hours, some evening shifts may be necessary to accommodate patient needs, allowing counselors to adapt their schedules to best serve our clientele.

  • Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that meets legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with individuals facing substance use disorders, providing therapeutic support to help them navigate their recovery. Many of our clients come from varied backgrounds and may have complex needs, including co-occurring mental health issues. Your role will be crucial in creating an environment of acceptance and understanding, enabling clients to confront their challenges and achieve their recovery goals.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  • A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services in the context of addiction treatment.

  • Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies related to substance use disorders.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients in a non-judgmental and empathetic manner.
