Test Software Engineer (LabVIEW, Matlab)

Salary: $104,000 - 144,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience using LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, and C#.
• Ability to learn, manage, and update existing code for sustaining test systems.
• Experience developing test systems for new products and adapting them to manufacturing needs using DFX techniques.
• Strong technical writing, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer skills, including CAD, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Confidence evaluating risks and tradeoffs and presenting solution options to management.
• Ability to influence schedules.

We are seeking a Test Software Engineer to develop and debug LabVIEW- and Python-based software. The work involves integrating devices under test with optical-bench equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, lasers, optical transceivers, NI cards, and custom PCBAs; DLLs, Python, and MATLAB may also be used to interface with LabVIEW. This is a full-time role, preferably, based 100% onsite in Sunnyvale, California. Compensation is market-based and depends on experience.
