Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Details
- D/E
- 4, 10-hour shifts
- 40-hour work weeks
- 0630-1700
- Must possess a valid Washington State or Compact RN Licensure.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC are required.
- Adhere to relevant nursing policies and unit standards.
- Comply with the Washington Nurse Practice Act and maintain current knowledge of legal aspects of nursing practice.
- Experience with Craniotomy and Retina procedures.
- Availability to take call as needed.
- May be required to float as a sitter and in rotation.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care with compassion, utilizing the nursing process and unit standards.
- Develop, implement, and assess individualized patient care plans continuously.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures/treatments as needed.
- Evaluate discharge plans for suitability, educational needs, and necessary adjustments.
- Document care provided, including assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Collect necessary patient information to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Conduct comprehensive ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately.
- Take appropriate nursing actions to achieve care goals addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
- Provide timely health information to patients, families, and significant others, along with written educational materials.
- Maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
- Participate in performance evaluation and improvement processes with the Director/Clinical Manager.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in accordance with hospital and unit policies.
