Job Overview Meat Room Lead – Lead position on the production floor. The Lead acts as a team captain, actively present on the production floor and working alongside the production team to assign resources as needed, serve as a resource to employees regarding the production process and equipment, and, in conjunction with management, help ensure all production processes follow safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Responsibilities Act as team captain, actively present on the production floor. Assign resources to production tasks as needed. Serve as a resource to employees regarding the production process and equipment. Collaborate with management to ensure processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Perform regular production duties within the team’s responsibilities and provide support when gaps exist. Qualifications 2+ years of experience working in a food production environment (food manufacturing ideal). 1+ years of experience in a Lead position, leading a team/floor operations. Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, and prioritize multiple projects/tasks. Compensation Pay rate: $25 per hour (may vary by experience and availability).
