Job Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Forklift Operators for a warehouse located in Austell!

Qualifications for Forklift Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience is required.
• Experience operating cherry pickers and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
• Basic math and reading skills to accurately pick and pack orders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Assignment Duties for Forklift Operators :

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to pick tickets or other instructions.
• Operate cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed to access inventory in high locations.
• Safely lift and handle plumbing supplies and equipment.
• Ensure all orders are correctly packed and labeled for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order processing goals.
• Report and discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details : Monday-Friday - 7:00AM-4:00PM

Pay Rate : $18.00/hour
