This role is for a Azure Cloud Solutions Architect (CSA) in the Manufacturing sector, focused on pre-sales technical work and customer/partner engagement. Responsibilities Covering Manufacturing Sector with a focus on Automotive Operate in a technical pre-sales capacity to identify candidate workloads, design and architect solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and drive customers toward active consumption of NetApp’s Azure-based products Collaborate with Microsoft Sales and Technical teams to provide technical expertise on NetApp and Azure cloud services Engage in education and collaboration within customer and partner environments as part of digital transformation efforts Qualifying customer opportunities and requirements and designing solutions that may include software, cloud services, and professional services Present solutions at customer and partner briefings, Microsoft and NetApp sales meetings, corporate events, etc. Design and run proofs-of-concept to illustrate solution fit in the customer environment Handover successful engagements to Professional Services and/or Customer Success Participate in industry meetups, user groups, and publish reference architectures and best practices Maintain Salesforce opportunity status and pursue ongoing learning and process improvement Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of cloud concepts and Microsoft Azure; Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is preferred Experience solving customer business challenges with cloud technology solutions Self-motivated, able to work with limited supervision and drive customer success Experience working with customers within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements Experience running proofs-of-concept for software/hardware/cloud solutions in a pre-sales role Knowledge of Network Attached Storage (preferably NetApp) and workload patterns (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL, VMware, HPC, virtual desktops) in a cloud environment Familiarity with container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes) On-premises infrastructure, data migration methodologies a plus Willingness to travel within assigned geography to customer locations Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong English (other languages a plus) Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of related field experience NetApp ONTAP experience a plus Microsoft Azure cloud certifications a plus (Azure Administrator, Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions, Azure Network Engineer) What We Offer Salary range details are based on location, qualifications, and experience and are subject to regional variations.
