Controller

Position Overview: The Controller will serve as a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial information, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving process improvements across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage and improve internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support business strategy Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings Develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team Drive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role Prior experience in financial services, banking, or a regulated environment highly preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional relationships Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel capabilities Why Join: High-visibility role with direct interaction with executive leadership Competitive compensation and performance-based bonus Hybrid work flexibility Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization Employees are paid on a biweekly basis.
