S/4HANA PP/QM Configuration Analyst Job Summary iT2's direct client is seeking an SAP S/4HANA PP/QM Configuration Analyst to provide expert technical analysis, design, and configuration within a regulated, global SAP ECC and S/4HANA environment. This role drives the end-to-end lifecycle of IT solutions—including research, testing, deployment, maintenance, and training—to align manufacturing and quality processes with global corporate goals. This is an FTE job and our client requires U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident to reside in Colorado for hybrid on-site 3 days a week schedule preferred, may consider remote Must have skills: S/4HANA SAP PP and SAP QM hands-on expertise Deep SAP knowledge, particularly within Manufacturing and Quality processes Experience with batch release processes in SAP S/4HANA Understanding of Windchill integrations and Bill of Materials (BOM) interfaces Experience supporting Manufacturing Execution and Quality functions Working knowledge of WM and basic MM capabilities Strong ability to partner with and communicate effectively with business stakeholders Ability to serve as a trusted advisor between the business and technical teams on the S/4HANA transformation journey Contribute beyond your primary area of expertise in SAP PP and SAP QM and support cross-functional initiatives for MM and WM You will be responsible for: Business Alignment: Validate SAP capabilities against business needs by identifying configuration options and proposing process improvements. SAP PP Configuration: Design and maintain core Production Planning structures, including BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, and Production Versions. Manufacturing Support: Manage configurations for Discrete Manufacturing methodologies, integrating cross-functionally with Product Costing (CO-PC) and PP/DS. SAP QM Configuration: Lead core Quality Management setups, focusing on the Batch Release Hub, Quality Inspection Lots, Sampling Procedures, and Master Data. Technical Architecture: Prioritize "out-of-the-box" standard SAP configurations over custom code to ensure scalable, sustainable systems. Documentation: Create clear requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and swimlane diagrams for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Validation & Testing: Author comprehensive test scenarios and scripts that comply with strict verification protocols and regulatory frameworks. Global Collaboration: Facilitate meetings and lead initiatives across geographically dispersed internal IT teams, business partners, and external vendors. Operational Support: Participate in cross-team critical incident resolution and maintain a proactive commitment to learning emerging SAP technologies. You will have been successful having: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Equivalent combinations of formal education and extensive hands-on experience may be considered. 10+ years of progressive experience configuring SAP PP and QM environments. Proven track record leading small-to-medium project teams and deliverables. Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment (Scaled Agile Framework / SAFe preferred). Deep experience writing functional specs and test scripts within GAMP 5 validated/regulated frameworks. Cross-Module Knowledge: Bonus familiarity with SAP MM (Materials Management) and WM (Warehouse Management) is highly preferred. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts simply. Task Management: Strong organizational skills to execute multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently.
