Schedule: Full-time Your Responsibilities Facilitate response to a request for services, including the initial response, assessment, and referral process, designation of the appropriate level of care, admission into services, and appropriate follow‑up activity. Conduct initial evaluation, initiate assessment, document patient symptomology, functioning, and needs, and provide information to MD for LOC determination. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers promptly and courteously. Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA. Maintain all pre‑admission and admission paperwork accurately and complete all precertification with insurance companies. Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required. Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and psychiatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities. License: Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
