Come join us! Mobius is looking for a Data Enablement Analyst in support of the Navy's Office of Warfighting Advantage (OWA). The OWA workstream provides highly visible and strategically impactful support to our Navy clients and their mission to secure enduring warfighting advantage by fostering a culture of learning and improvement that adapts, corrects, and innovates faster than any adversary by 2027. This role will support data engineering, data analysis, and data visualization. Domain areas could include but are not limited to maintenance and operational availability of Naval platforms, readiness and quality of service of Sailors, resource allocation evaluation, and infrastructure and project budgeting. This role requires intermediate experience using Python and SQL to run queries and perform statistical analysis and advanced analytics activities within Databricks. Ability to understand and write SQL queries and Python scripts. Experience capturing and translating functional requirements and user needs into technical requirements. Experience creating data models combining multiple data sources for integration.

This position must be local to the DC area and able to support in-person at the Pentagon or Navy Yard up to 3x/week.

Duties of a Data Enablement Analyst may include:

• Understanding of data automation principles
• Experience supporting technical review with government clients
• Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively and concisely with high-ranking DoW officers
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Ability to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow through

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strategy, Transformation at Scale, Data Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, USN Subject Matter Expertise Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Business/Economics, Marketing and Public Affairs, Communications, Complex Problem Solving, Analytics, & Graphics Support.
• Data Science, Data Visualization (e.g., Qlik/Tableau), User Experience/Interface Design, Data & Systems Engineering (e.g., Databricks and Trifacta)
• Experience working within DoW and knowledge of DoW organization strongly preferred
• Experience working with government systems (i.e., SharePoint, DOW ADVANA Jupiter, BLADE, Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir Foundry, etc.) and stakeholders
• 2+ years of experience with data visualization (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI, Maven Smart System)
• 2+ years of experience with SQL and Python
• Experience with data engineering and data architecture. Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) methodology and/or creating data models within Qlik (or similar data visualization tool (i.e., Tableau, MSS)) environment to join multiple data sources into a model for accurate and efficient rendering of outputs.

Education Requirement:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree preferred.

Clearance Requirement:

• Must have a SECRET or interim SECRET clearance (Top Secret is preferred but not required, opportunity exists to upgrade clearance level as needed)

Washington Salary Range: $70,000 - $73,000 USD
