What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards
• Support emergency response efforts as part of the unit team when needed
• Document patient information and surgical details accurately

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years OR experience
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including flexible coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays

• Experience with CVOR or similar specialties
• Willingness to be part of emergency response teams

About the Assignment This role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Slidell, LA, providing high-quality surgical services with a focus on patient safety and efficiency. The RN will support a busy operating room team, handling 10-25 cases per day across various surgical procedures. The assignment includes participation in emergency response efforts, with specific details communicated by the unit manager as needed.
