The Dealership Accounting Coordinator ("DAC") I is an individual contributor who supports in-store accounting operations leadership and is a key contributor to ensure effective communication and collaboration between Lithia Home Office ("LHO"), the regional Accounting Processing Center ("APC") and store operations. The DAC I generally will report to either a Business Manager ("BM") or Accounting Supervisor. Location: Casper, WY Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Compensation Range: $17.80- $26.45, with a typical starting range of $20.24 - $26. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws. What You'll Do Complete daily check and credit card deposit Assist in reconciliation of cash sales accounting schedule In coordination with a BM, work with store operations employees on any process related changes that need made to maintain a reconciled cash sales accounting schedule Audit car deals for accuracy and completeness utilizing the Deal Checklist 2nd line of audit defense prior to deal being sent to APC for processing Maintain notes of missing or incorrect items in Booked and Pending report in the Performance Dashboard Work closely with variable operations to ensure collection of outstanding revenue recognition and state compliance required items Provide back up support to F&I Managers for scanning required documents into Digital Deal Jacket Review for completeness and accuracy all IRS Form 8300s for processing Assist BM in maintaining reconciled accounting schedules as assigned Cross-train on Title & Registration Specialist role in situations where applicable to provide back up support to other in-store accounting operations functions Meet performance standards of accuracy, timeliness, cure rates, and efficiency as established by the Company Additional work and tasks as assigned What You'll Bring Quickly assimilates to the needs of the role, while demonstrating the ability to work independentlyComputer literate with focus on general use of Microsoft Office and web-based applicationsHigh school diploma preferred1+ years of experience working in a dealership and/or processing car deals preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.* Up to 1/3 of time: standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds Up to 2/3 of time: sitting, kneeling, reaching, talking, hearing Total Rewards Competitive pay Medical, Dental and Vision Plans Paid Holidays PTO: 80 hours front-loaded on day 1 Short and Long-Term Disability Paid Life Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan Lithia Learning Center Vehicle Purchase Discounts Wellness Programs Additional information about our Total Rewards benefits can be reviewed on our careers site at totalrewards.lithiadriveway.com High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
