Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Valid Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with K–12 students in school settings
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group social-emotional support to students in both general and special education
• Coordinate and manage 504 Plans, ensuring compliance and best practices for student success
• Implement effective behavior intervention strategies and support systems
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school climate
• Maintain confidential student records and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and regulations
