Pharmacy Technician in Brooklyn, NY

A rapidly expanding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Home Infusion/Compounding Technician to join their dynamic team. This role requires a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in home infusion or compounding pharmacy settings. Candidates with inpatient-only experience will not be considered.


Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Direct Hire

Start Date: ASAP


Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with flexible start times at 8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM
• Rotating weekends required
• Operations run seven days a week from 6 AM to 9 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate compounding of medications following established protocols
• Utilize a proprietary workflow system to manage daily tasks efficiently
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and compassionate exchanges
• Support patient care by coordinating timely medication preparations and deliveries

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in home infusion or a designated compounding pharmacy environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers
• California technician license required
• National Certification is highly preferred
• Experience in retail compounding pharmacy is also a strong match
