Job Description:

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients across all service areas including neonates to geriatrics. The role involves performing EKGs, bedside bronchoscopy, and spirometry in an inpatient setting. The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopy, and spirometry.
• Provide coverage in various areas including ER, inpatient units, and rehabilitation.
• Operate and manage respiratory therapy equipment such as Drager and Servo I ventilators, and Airvo2 high flow devices.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, RRT or CRT certifications required; NRP & PALS preferred.
• A valid driver's license to comply with the 50-mile radius rule.
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings and team scheduling.
