Requirements

- Minimum14yearsofresidentialconstructionexperiencedependingonpositionlevel
- Experienceinresidentialframingand/orfinishcarpentrypreferred
- MusthavebasiccarpentrytoolsasoutlinedbyS.R.Freeman,Inc.
- Abilitytoaccuratelyreadatapemeasure
- Basicblueprintreadingskillsrequired
- ValidCaliforniaDriversLicensewithinsurabledrivingrecord
- Mustbephysicallycapableof:
- Liftingupto100pounds
- Handlingandmovinglumberandbuildingmaterials
- Workingfromladders,scaffolding,andheightsabove20feet
- Workingonelevatedframingmembers
- Musthavegoodeyesightanddepthperception
- MustbeabletocommunicateeffectivelyinEnglish,includingfollowingverbalandwritteninstructions
Responsibilities

- Maintainandproperlyusehandtoolsandequipment
- Performjobsitesetup,cleanup,andmaterialhandling
- Cutandinstallframingmaterials
- Constructfloor,wall,androofsystemsforcustomresidentialprojects
- Buildandsheetinteriorandexteriorwalls
- Assistwith:
- Concreteformsandfoundations
- Layoutandframingofwalls
- Doorandwindowframing
- Floorjoistandceilingjoistinstallation
- Roofframing
- Stairconstruction
- Operatetoolsincluding:
- Skilsaw
- Sawzall
- Levelsandlayouttools
- FollowallcompanysafetypoliciesandOSHAregulations
