Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Required Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of current experience in an eighteen (18) plus bed telemetry or progressive care unit.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying clinical settings and patient needs.
• Successful completion of at least one thirteen (13) week travel assignment.
• Selected candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. Candidates will not be able to start an assignment until they have passed this onsite administered test. Should they fail, candidates will have one opportunity to re-test; a second failure will result in contract cancellation and all applicable fees will be enforced.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Epic EMR.

Required Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• State of New Mexico Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
