Used car dealership located in Dyer, Indiana is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Office Manager/Automotive Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous dealership accounting or automotive bookkeeping experience, strong administrative skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Office Manager/Controller

• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents using Microsoft Word and Excel

• Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records

• Costing and posting vehicle deals

• Processing bank deposits/ bank reconciliations

• Funding and paying off vehicles

• Processing sales commissions

• Handling dealership paperwork and documentation

• Responding to accounting and administrative inquiries

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years dealership accounting experience required

• CDK experience is a strong plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Experience in multiple areas of dealership accounting is strongly preferred, including:

• Payroll readiness and payroll support

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Titles and Registration

Hiring requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Have a valid driver’s license

Authorized to work in the United State of America
