Salary: $124,000 - 164,000 per year Requirements:

• Senior-level technical leadership experience overseeing enterprise IT infrastructure and service delivery.
• Experience managing infrastructure operations, cloud services, service desk operations, vendor relationships, and technology modernization initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate across network administration, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, procurement, and application development teams.

• Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations to maintain the availability and performance of enterprise systems and services.
• Triage, assign, and track service tickets involving cloud, hosting, and network services.
• Coordinate DNS changes, firewall rules, account provisioning, and access management with network and systems administration teams.
• Lead responses to major outages and service disruptions, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage vendor relationships through status meetings, performance reviews, and escalations.
• Review and contribute to Statements of Work, procurement documents, and contract renewals.
• Conduct interviews and manage hiring for infrastructure and client support roles.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for IT infrastructure management service areas.
• Prepare weekly status reports and participate in IT leadership meetings and executive briefings as required.
• Manage collection of assessment artifacts and compliance documentation twice a year.

We are supporting the State Division of Medicaid, which administers Mississippis Medicaid program and provides healthcare coverage to eligible residents. Based in Jackson, this Director of IT Services role provides executive-level leadership and operational oversight for enterprise infrastructure management and delivery services during a major technology modernization effort. The role reports to the Chief Information Officer and/or Chief Technology Officer and covers cloud services, networking and telecommunications, end-user support, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity partnership and compliance, vendor and contract management, and IT governance. The posted pay range is $100–$150 per hour; final compensation is determined through a comprehensive analysis of relevant skills, qualifications, education, experience, and market considerations.
