Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Compliance Specialist to join our team at Victory Medical Supply (VMS).

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate documentation, processing invoices, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and Department of Labor (DOL) requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies to support accurate and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Proof of Delivery – Review, verify, and maintain proof of delivery documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with DOL requirements
• Invoicing & Billing – Prepare, review, and process invoices and billing documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable requirements
• Medical Coding – Review and utilize appropriate medical codes to support accurate billing and documentation
• Auditing – Conduct routine audits of patient records, orders, invoices, and delivery documentation to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance
• Identify missing or incorrect information and work with internal teams to resolve documentation or billing issues
• Ensure all required documentation is properly completed, organized, and maintained
• Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure timely completion
• Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable DOL guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and internal quality control processes
• Collaborate with ordering, shipping, prior authorization, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring errors and opportunities to improve documentation and workflow accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to review documentation for accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Ability to handle confidential patient and company information professionally
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and quality
• Previous experience in medical coding, medical billing, invoicing, auditing, or healthcare administration is preferred but not required; training will be provided
