Travel RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Chapel Hill, NC Job Summary Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care during the COVID-19 crisis. The assignment is a 13‑week contract with 3x12 night shifts. The role involves developing patient plans of care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other therapists. Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. Insert and remove endotracheal tubes. Perform timely and accurate documentation. Promote continuous quality improvement. Teach and counsel patients and families. Requirements Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist. At least 2 years of work experience. Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification; BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
