Drives commercial truck with air brakes and hydraulic lift to deliver merchandise to businesses. Responsible for unloading

orders from truck, collecting payments, issuing return credits, and completing paperwork

Job Duties/Essential Functions

● Collects Driver Route Sheet, truck assignment, driver manifests, member invoices, audit notes, resale cards, phone, and

driver tablet.

● Using a hand-held tablet, conducts safety inspection of delivery truck. Visually inspects pallets in truck to ensure correct

number loaded, and that any frozen and cooler items are included. Applies pallet straps when necessary.

● Drives to complete up to 25 delivery stops per day. Reviews invoice to locate merchandise to be delivered. Cuts shrink-

wrap from pallet and removes merchandise from truck with manual or electric pallet jack or by loading on hand truck or dolly

and lowering on hydraulic lift.

● Verifies all items and quantities delivered with member. Checks any substitutions made with member for approval. Obtains

appropriate signatures and payments from member.

● Provides prompt and courteous member service. Calls to arrange delivery of any missing items. Loads any damaged or

refused items in truck to return to the warehouse. Issues return receipts.

● Drives delivery truck back to warehouse after all deliveries are made. Arranges for any returned items to be checked in by a

manager.

● Turns in paperwork, payments, phone, and tablet.

● Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials

● Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

● Class B, #32,000 GVW/#54,000 GVW truck, manual pallet jack, EPJ, hand truck, dolly, box knife, cooler units, milk crates
