Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Project Engineer Conduct field-based activities such as site inspections, sample collection, testing, and analysis Assist with installing, operating, and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems Manage and oversee subcontractors in the field Assist with project engineering design Assist with writing technical reports, proposals, and permitting documents Gather, analyze, and interpret data Input data into template reports Assist with project oversight Ensure safe work practices on all project work Actively develop your own career growth What we’re looking for BS in Environmental Engineering EIT certification is a plus 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred, or ability to obtain certification at start of employment Awareness of and/or experience with environmental remediation including soil, soil gas, and groundwater treatment systems is a plus Familiarity with the PRP (Petroleum Restoration Program) 2+ years of related experience Proficiency with MS Office Experience with AutoCAD is a plus Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness Strong safety record and understanding of safe work practices Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data Valid driver’s license, good driving history, and reliable transportation required 80‑90% fieldwork/travel to support and gain experience at a variety of project sites in Florida Why you’ll love working for us Company‑subsidized medical and dental Company‑paid life, short, and long‑term disability 401(k) match, tuition assistance, and more Cross‑training and the ability to work on a variety of projects Performance‑based bonuses or other incentives Working with the best and brightest in the industry 2,000+ employee national firm with 70+ locations across the US Equal Opportunity Employer We believe in equality for all and celebrate the diversity and differences of our employees, customers, and communities.
