CWR-Warehouse Associate I

Our client, a leading transportation and logistics organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate , you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $17

Shift: M, T, TH, F 7:00am-3:30pm; Sat 7:00am-12:00pm; Off days Sunday and Wednesday

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

• Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped

• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors

• Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

• Participate in inventory counts and assemble products as needed

What's Needed?

• Basic written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

• Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry

• Ability to load and unload trailers using handheld scanners and other equipment
