This is a hands-on maintenance position working with pumps, motors, valves, blowers, piping, HVAC, electrical systems, and other plant equipment. Opportunities are available for entry-level through experienced maintenance professionals.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial plant equipmentTroubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, mixers, blowers, valves, actuators, piping, and related systemsAssist with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting and repairsUse hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and mobile equipment safelyInspect equipment and identify developing maintenance or reliability issuesComplete maintenance documentation and update work records in the asset management systemCoordinate with operations, maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractorsTravel between local plant facilities as neededParticipate in an on-call rotation and occasional overtimeRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordMechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experienceAbility to safely work around industrial equipment and plant operationsAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditionsAbility to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spacesAbility to obtain the required Plant Maintenance Technologist certification within 24 months of employmentExperience LevelsTechnician I: Entry-level opportunity; 1+ year of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical maintenance, or similar experience preferred | $22.19-$29.48/hourTechnician II: 2+ years of relevant water/wastewater, facility, industrial maintenance, or related skilled trades experience | $24.23-$32.42/hourTechnician III: 5+ years of relevant water/wastewater, facility, industrial maintenance, or related experience | $26.01-$35.67/hourAdditional DetailsFollowing the introductory period, employees may become eligible for a four-day, 10-hour work schedule. This position participates in an on-call rotation and requires successful completion of applicable pre-employment screenings.
